HANRAHAN

Coach Sean Hanrahan is Bothell through and through. At Bothell High School, he was a two-way football starter on the Cougars’ 2014 Washington 4A State Championship team and a standout lacrosse player before continuing his career at NCAA Division II Belmont Abbey College in North Carolina.

At Belmont Abbey, Hanrahan became a productive midfielder for a nationally competitive program. In 2019 he recorded 22 goals and 19 assists for 41 points in 18 games, including a three-goal performance capped by the double-overtime game winner against nationally ranked Rockhurst.

BOTHELL-BRED. STATE CHAMPION. NCAA DIVISION II LACROSSE. BACK HOME BUILDING THE NEXT GENERATION.

Today, Hanrahan serves as Bothell’s Assistant Varsity Coach and Youth Development Director, investing in players from the youngest age groups through high school. He regularly attends youth games, provides private instruction through Hammer Lacrosse, directs Bothell’s summer Cougar Camp, and leads week-long lacrosse programming in local elementary schools to help grow the sport throughout the community.

His commitment to Bothell extends beyond lacrosse. Hanrahan also coaches freshman football at Bothell High School, returning to the same program where he once won a state championship. He grew up competing for Bothell, represented the community at the NCAA level, and came home to help build what comes next.
